The 13th annual Weyauwega International Film Festival will screen films from around the globe including many films from Wisconsin. All films screen at the Gerold Opera House in Weyauwega. Full schedule and tickets will be available in mid-October.

Your Hosts: Wega Arts

Wega Arts brings in performing arts, film workshops, and visual arts to the community. Our Mission and Vision is to:

• Develop original material in Weyauwega with an emphasis on film.
• Create an environment that encourages individuals of all ages to express themselves.
• Create an opportunity to actively use creativity for social change with an emphasis on film.
• Support strong citizenship, resilience of character, and interactions among members of the community by means of shared experiences observing art, theater, film and creating original projects; together with the opportunity to discuss what has been seen and created.
• Have a National Reach: To bring talent to Weyauwega in the form of original plays, scripts, films and guest artists.

Historic Venue: Gerold Opera House

Built in 1915 by George Gerold, the Opera House has been home to theatre, movies, music, celebrations and more. In 2007, it was purchased by WEGA ARTS and has undergone upgrades and historic preservation. Besides hosting several Wega Arts events each year, it is available for rent for your events and celebrations.

The Gerold Opera House is a charming place to hold your event!

The Gerold can seat up to 250 for dinner and over 300 for concerts and events. The Gerold features a full bar. Above all, it has a charm only historic buildings possess.
