The annual Winter Wonderland and Christmas Parade will be on Saturday, December 7th. Parade starts at 5:30 pm and travels from 500 Ann St. High School parking lot. Please enter in the West Entrance near the Scout House.

• Enjoy beautiful lights and displays in the downtown area

Pre-Parade: Enjoy free hot chocolate with kid’s activities and giveaways in the Community Center, City Hall courtesy of the Weyauwega Area Chamber of Commerce.

• Stay indoors in the Warming Center inside the Community Center and watch the parade.

After the Parade: Head down to the corner of Pine Street and Main Street for the lighting of the City Christmas Tree.

• After the tree-lighting, head across the street to the Gerold Opera House. Santa will be there with snacks and entertainment by the Weyauwega School choirs and band.

• Before and after the Parade and downtown festivities, take the famly and friend, and drive around Weyauwega to see all the neighborhood Christmas displays.

• Don’t forget, there are several local businesses and eateries open before and after the Parade for some fun shopping and eating. Many treasures to discover.

Weyauwega is located in the heart of Central Wisconsin River Country with access to both the Waupaca and Wolf Rivers. This quaint rural community is located on the historic Yellowstone Trail and speaks volumes of history by name and nature.

Its foundation has been built around the 250-acre Lake Weyauwega, an outstanding educational system, and worldwide award-winning cheeses. Weyauwega touts several parks in this Tree City U.S.A. community. The largest of these is a beautiful 12-acre site that offers a man-made swimming lake, baseball diamond, playground equipment, walking trail, picnic shelters and sledding hill.

Although you'll find many city amenities here, just a couple of blocks from downtown puts you on State Highway 10. Then, within 30 minutes you’ll find yourself in Stevens Point by driving west and the Fox River Valley area if you travel east.
