Once Upon A Mattress – Saturday
“Once Upon a Mattress” is being presented by the WF School District.
Once Upon a Mattress is a musical comedy with music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer, and book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer. It opened off-Broadway in May 1959, and then moved to Broadway. The play was written as a humorous adaptation of the 1835 Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale “The Princess and the Pea.” It has been shown and adapted for high school stages, community theatres as well as shown in TV episodes such as “Glee” and as television movies.
“Once Upon a Mattress” Musical showings are:
- Friday, November 4th: 7pm-10pm.
- Saturday, November 5th: 7pm-10pm.
- Sunday, November 6th: 2pm-4pm.
Runtime is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes plus a 15-minute intermission.
