Light Show Food Drive

A friendly competition for a great cause!

Light Show Food Drive. What’s that?

A friendly competition in Weyauwega between the local Police Department and the Fire Department for a good cause!

With two large light shows going on in Weyauwega this year, we thought we would get creative in collecting food items for people in need this Holiday Season.
Come on out and support your favorite team (or both 😉) and check out the beautiful light displays synchronized to music.
  • Date: Saturday, December 17th, 2022.
  • Time: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Locations: East Ann Street and East Parker Street (watch for flashing lights!).
  • Donations accepted: Canned goods, shelf-stable goods. Cash so the pantries can purchase items in need.
  • The Weymont Food Pantry is low on these items: Peanut Butter, Saltine Crackers, Jello, frosting tubs for the “birthday cake kits” and bars of soap.
  • Please be thoughtful with your donations. No expired foods. And if you won’t prepare it and eat it, it’s not a food pantry choice.
Fire trucks 🚒 will line East Parker Street and Squad cars 🚓 will flood E Ann Street as each team tries to raise the most food items!
We will also be collecting monetary donations as well. Our food and money donations will then be distributed through-out food pantries across Waupaca County. It’s a win-win for us and those in need!
Need to make a quick stop? No problem. There will be a drop box on-site at each light show.
Hope to see you there as we “extinguish” and “handcuff” hunger!
